Redlands Instructional Videos: “Working with Statistics”

This is a (very) small collection of videos that show how statistics can help us discover things about our society and our environment.

  • What Every Child Should Know
    • This video uses survey data to find out how people rank 5 traits that everyone agrees that kids need to learn, but that different people value differently.  It uses simple distributions and cross-tabulations to show what kinds of people rank each of those traits highest.
